What is Emtone?
Emtone, approved by the US Federal Food and Drug Administration (FDA), is the first treatment in the world that combines monopolar radio frequency and shock wave energy and removes the orange peel appearance on the skin starting from the first session. Developed after long-term research, the most distinctive feature of Emtone is that it can affect all factors that cause cellulite at the same time.
Emtone directly affects the cellulite caused by enlarged fat tissue, damaged areas, collagen fibers, loss of elasticity in the skin, impaired blood circulation and accumulated metabolic wastes.
As an innovative cellulite treatment, Emtone regulates impaired blood circulation with focused pressure energy and ensures that metabolic wastes that cause cellulite are removed from the system. It also repairs damaged collagen fibers with radiofrequency energy. Thus, it improves both skin quality and skin elasticity.
What Is Cellulite?
It is an aesthetic problem that manifests itself by creating an orange peel appearance in different parts of the skin caused by various factors such as hormonal changes, an unbalanced diet, weight gain and loss. Cellulite is a localized metabolic disorder in the subcutaneous adipose tissue.
In a more medical definition, the fat cells expand causing small bumps, and the septa become band-like, causing pits.
Cellulite, which is mostly seen in the abdomen, thighs and buttocks, affects the skin and subcutaneous adipose tissue. Rarely, cellulite can also occur in the arms.
What Causes Cellulite?
Hormonal changes in our body affect the ratio of water and fat in our subcutaneous fat tissue, and therefore our blood circulation, resulting in a rough appearance resembling an orange peel in the connective tissue of the skin.
Although it is generally thought to be caused by excess weight, cellulite is not just a weight-related problem. As the main reason is hormonal changes, it also occurs in women at their ideal weight.
According to scientific research, 90% of women experience cellulite problems at a certain time in their lives. Periods that cause hormonal changes in women, such as pregnancy and menopause, trigger an increase in cellulite.
How Is Cellulite Treated?
Contrary to common belief, exercise and diet alone do not prevent cellulite formation or remove existing cellulite. Reducing the mass of lower fat layers helps to lighten cellulite, but it does not always give definite results. For this reason, all factors that cause cellulite should be treated at the same time and an appropriate treatment method should be used.
How Many Sessions Are Required?
The recommended number of sessions is 4. In Emtone application, the results start to appear from the first session. However, the number of sessions needed is determined by the dermatologist during the examination depending on the severity of cellulite. Depending on the treatment area, sessions last between 12 to 20 minutes.
Who Cannot Get Emtone?

- Breastfeeding individuals,
